Service Introduction:

Tissue chip, also known as tissue microarray (TMA), is a tissue section prepared by arranging dozens to hundreds of small tissue samples neatly on a single glass slide. Most are custom-made from clinical tumor samples. Its greatest advantage is that during subsequent staining, experimental conditions for tissue samples on the chip remain consistent, saving time and reagents; after scanning, it facilitates unified analysis, and both time and cost can be reduced compared with single-slide staining. The disadvantage is that the selected tissue area is relatively small and cannot fully reflect the expression profile of individual samples.

The core diameters and specifications we can provide are as follows:

Diameter Specification

1.0 mm 14*22 (308 spots)

1.5 mm 10*20 (200 spots)

2.0 mm 8*15 (120 spots)

3.0 mm 6*10 (60 spots)

5.0 mm 4*6 (24 spots)

The commonly used core diameter is 2.0 mm. This service provides paraffin sections of tissue microarrays, with a section thickness of 4–5 μm.
